My Birthday
My birthday is coming up. Actually, it's this Sunday (March 3rd). I'm not that excited for it, I mean, it's just another one. I am going to be doing more on my car soon, but not much. The main thing I will be doing is working on my truck. It's a 1983 Datsun pickup. You may say, "That's a piece of S***!" but I say it's a special P.O.S.
I never got to meet my grandfather on my father's side. He was a great man though. A silver star, three purple hearts, Master Sergeant in the United States Marines. He was a hero. Unfortunately, do to smoking and Agent Orange, he died of lung cancer three years before I was born.
This truck belonged to him. After he passed, my father got it, but he gave it to my other grandfather, because he didn't need it. So this truck belonged to both of my grandfathers. My grandfather then gave this truck to me, when I was a tween. It needs a lot of work, but I love a good challenge.

Well here we go

My car's exterior is basically finished. There are some more things that have yet to be done, but it is fine in it's current state. I've included some pictures below:

Now I am going to start working on the interior and the car itself. I already have an aftermarket exhaust system, but I would like to get a better one. I'd also like to do some more things to get that engine to its full potential. Next step, it's time I work on my truck! More to come about that later....

When All Else Fails
It wouldn't be right of me to not make a post somehow related to Valentine's Day. So, being that it is 12:04 a.m. Valentine's morning, here we go.

So, I'm a single guy. Therefore, the amount of time I have to allocate towards cars is tremendous. I am not desperate for some sort of relationship at all, in fact, I like the way it is right now. It is a great feeling to have when you realise that, although human to human passion may die, we can still have our own personal passions. So to all those who feel lonely this Valentine's Day, when all else fails, you still have your cars.

A quick update on my car. This spoiler/wing is being installed and I should have the car back around 4:30 p.m. today. I will be sure to post some pictures of it. I also intend on posting a video on the wing, basically talking about the wing itself, as well as how to adjust it. So be watching out for that!

The Start of Something New

I'm going to be completely honest with you guys. I was never in to cars as a child. Not even in my early teens. Now, on the other hand, I cannot suppress my obsession. I'm not some redneck Nascar fan. I don't even like regular track racing. My obsession, is Touge racing. Mountain pass racing. Perhaps it's because I'm Japanese. Regardless of the reason, that is where my heart is. I'm not some punk-ass kid who is obsessed with annoying the population, nor am I a rebel in any way. I just have a passion. Any adult cannot alienate me for that. Most people my age and in this age have no passion whatsoever.
Like any aspiring driver, I have to start somewhere. So where have I started? With a 2001 Ford ZX2. That's right. We've all heard of the ZX2, and we all know the people who usually drive them. Basically, assholes. I am not an asshole. I'm not white trash. Everything on the car is stock, except for the exhaust and the body kit. I bought it with the exhaust already on, but I got the body kit and paint on it. I've included some pictures for you guys.

The only thing left to be put on is the spoiler. It's on its way, and when it gets here and gets put on, I'll update you guys.
